Before you start, have these ready
- Your dashboard sign-in
- The chat add-on on your plan
Step 1: Copy your chat link
Sign in, open Chat, and press the copy button beside your chat link. It is an ordinary web address.

Step 2: Open it yourself first
Paste the link into your browser's address bar and press Enter.

A chat page that greets you with your business name.
Step 3: Add it as a button on your website
If you can edit your site at all, add a button or a menu item called "Chat with us" and paste the link as its web address. Every site builder lets you do this without touching code.
Step 4: Add it to your business listings
Paste the link into the website or message button field on your social media pages and your business listings.
Step 5: Add it to your email signature and invoices
Add a line such as "Questions? Chat with us any time" and link it to your chat page.
Step 6: Test it on your phone
Send the link to yourself by text and open it on your phone. Ask a question a customer would ask.

The chat fills your phone's screen and answers from your own documents.
