Choose a plan

Work out which plan costs least for your call volume, and what happens when you use more than it includes.

  • About 5 minutes
  • No technical skills needed
  • For: Whoever pays the bill

Before you start, have these ready

  • A rough idea of how many calls you miss in a month
  • A payment card
  1. Step 1: Decide if you want calls answered

Text-back ($29 a month) answers missed calls by text only, with no AI phone calls. Receptionist ($59) and Pro ($99) answer the call itself. Prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

  2. Step 2: Estimate your minutes

Count the calls you expect the receptionist to answer in a month and multiply by the average length. If you do not know, start with three minutes a call. Receptionist includes 100 minutes and Pro includes 300.

  3. Step 3: Use the calculator

Open the pricing page and enter your numbers in the cost calculator. It shows the total on each call plan, overage included.

    What you should see

One plan marked as the lowest cost for your volume.

  4. Step 4: Pick a plan in Billing

Sign in, open Billing, and choose Text-back, Receptionist, or Pro.

  5. Step 5: Watch your usage

Billing shows the minutes used this month. Minutes over your allowance are $0.25 each, and on Text-back each conversation over 75 is $0.25. If you go over most months, the next plan up may cost less.

If you run out of minutes

The receptionist keeps answering and takes messages. It never drops a call.

This guide was written for the beta. If a screen is named a little differently from what you see, the steps still apply in the same order.
