7 steps in this guide
Before you start, have these ready
- A price list, FAQ, or service guide as a PDF up to 5 MB, or a few paragraphs you can paste
- A computer or phone with a microphone, if you want to try voice
Step 1: Open the demo
Go to the Try it page from the menu at the top of this site.
What you should see
A form that starts with "Business name".
Step 2: Enter your business name and industry
Type your business name and choose the closest industry. Add the towns you serve if you like. This field is optional.
Step 3: Add your document
Press "Choose a PDF" and pick your price list, or paste your services, prices, hours, and policies into the text box. You can do both.
What happens to your document
It stays in memory for 20 minutes and is never stored, logged, or used for training. Close the tab and it is gone.
Step 4: Build your receptionist
Press "Build my receptionist" and wait while it reads your document.
What you should see
A line that starts with "Ready" and tells you how much text it read and when the demo expires.
Step 5: Chat with it
Use the suggested questions or type your own. Ask about your hours, ask for a price that is in your document, and ask for one that is not.
What you should see
Prices that match your document. For anything missing, it says the team will confirm and offers to take your details.
Step 6: Talk to it out loud
Switch to the Voice tab and allow the microphone when your browser asks. Speak the way a customer would, and interrupt it.
Step 7: Test the hard calls
Say you smell gas. Be rude to it. Ask if it is a robot. These are the calls that show the difference.
What you should see
A safety line first for the gas smell, a calm reply to rudeness, and an honest yes when asked if it is an AI.
This guide was written for the beta. If a screen is named a little differently from what you see, the steps still apply in the same order.
